5. Terry Fox Run foundation

    Terry Fox run is an non-compitive activity for people who join and run, Terry Fox hope to run with the disable body and people may raise money for cancer, Terry Fox was running with cancer to prove to everyone in the world that if people who have cancer, they still can be active and live in a healthy way.

    The events was founded 1981 by  Isadore Sharp who contacted Terry Fox in the hospital and was followed by Terry Fox's wishes by creating a cancer foundation by using Terry Fox's name for the foundation.

    Unlike other foundation, the Terry Fox Run has no co-op with any sponsorship. During his cross country run, he went to many places such as Mcdonald's. The Terry Fox run does not use any race related materials

(such as t-shirts, banners, etc).

 the Historic Sites and Monuments Board of Canada: one near Thunder Bay, where he, sadly was forced to end his run; another near Port Coquitlam City Hall, where he grew up in British Columbia,Terry Fox had dream, and he never gave up.
